SNC-Lavalin PAE Inc. was established in December 2002 when a partnership of SNC-Lavalin (Canada) and PAE Government Services (US) was awarded the CANCAP contract to support the Canadian military overseas.  SNC-Lavalin, one of Canada’s largest engineering firms, brought its expertise in engineering, facility management, international projects, environmental management and engineering design while PAE  had great experience with working in isolated areas, supporting camps and contracting with the US military.

SNC-Lavalin PAE Inc. is incorporated under the laws of Canada with our head office in Ottawa, Ontario. SNC-Lavalin PAE Inc. currently holds ISO 9001:2008 certification and follows a rigorous Quality Control program on its projects.

We take great pride in our service with the Canadian Forces from Bosnia to Kabul and to Kandahar.

More Than Just a Place to Work!

SNC-Lavalin PAE Inc. is proud of its support to the Canadian Forces on deployed operations. We also want to be known as good corporate citizens and encourage our employees to get involved with aid projects of many types when on mission.

We have supported a number of projects in both Kabul and Bosnia where both the company and our employees donate time and money to make a difference. In Bosnia, we worked with DND to refurbish a local school that had been destroyed by war. Our employees volunteered their personal time to work on the school and helped to repair electrical systems, roofs and plumbing. The company donated funds to help with the repairs and, along with some other partners, collected corporate donations for schoolbooks and computers in Canada which we shipped to Bosnia.

In Kabul, we became involved with efforts to collect clothes for Afghani children, to provide schoolbooks and computers and to help with the development of wells in outlying villages. Our employees participated in regular civilian-military assistance work throughout the mission time. Back at our head office in Canada, our company and its employees contributed to Red Cross relief for the Asian tsunami, local refurbishment of the Grand Theatre in Kingston, and established a scholarship for military dependants at the local high school.

We encourage and support our employees' efforts and ideas to give something back to where they work and have undertaken similar projects in Kandahar. For example, our employees run a weekly draw to raise funds for a local school and others contribute their time and talent to support various local organizations.
